Bibliomania brings to the Net works of reference, fiction, and non-fiction. We work to provide a major collection - chosen perhaps to reflect the range of titles you might find in a good public library. We initially work on titles in the public domain... however truly valuable information - in most fields - is up-to-date information, and we are in negotiation with a number of content providers, and will soon bring to the site a range of valuable reference resources.
We are keen to hear from: Authors, Publishers, Copyright Holders, who have reference resources that might be apropriate for publishing on Bibliomania.
Reference
The Reference section launches with a preview of Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable, 1894 edition, and will soon be joined by; Roget's Thesaurus, and Bartlett's Familiar Quotations.Headword searches will of course be available, but there's more... You will be able to do Harvest free text searches across all three works... and this pattern of providing cross searching through sets of complementary works, is one we will follow for futher subject areas.
Fiction
We launch with all the titles from the Data Text Library, and have just added these great works:
Wilkie Collins: Woman in WhiteWe expect to add at least one title per week. Work in progress includes:
